  1. Good poem. One of my cat’s, Chip loves to jump in the tub after you’re done, or when you are drying off. He likes to lick the warm water after it drains. My other cat, Tigress, Chip’s sister sticks her tongue in the faucet after any of us have showered. We have a well and I think she is licking the minerals in the faucet. Most times, when we open the shower curtain one, or both cats are waiting. Tigress dips her paw in her water dish and then licks her paw, as your cat in your poem “licks the shadows from his paws”.
I love how cats are a constant source of amusing entertainment and then when tired are loveable.
